訓練生夜は灯火を見ればairportの位置やrunwayがすぐ分かりますか？
キャプテンLighting systemを理解していればsituational awarenessが大きく上がる。Airport beacon、runway edge lights、threshold/end lights、taxiway lights、approach lighting、PAPI/VASI、pilot-controlled lightingなどを整理しよう。

実際のフライトでは
キャプテン灯火が見えることとrunway alignmentを正しく認識できることは別。chartやairport diagramと照合する。
理解をつなげる
Airport lightingは単なる暗闇の目印ではなく、position・runway orientation・glidepathを伝える情報体系だ。色と配置を覚え、airport diagramやchartと組み合わせる。PCLがある空港ではactivation procedureも事前に確認する。
